When you say that "dont see the protection when I go to the Internet any longer are you referring to the 'Golden Padlock' appearing on the notification tray icon (bottom righthand corner of the desktop), or is there some other usual sign that you are no longer seeing?

 

If so then please let us know in more detail as to exactly what that is.
