I have not been able to play spades in a week. I can play hearts so I know it is not the web site. Could it be my setting on my virus protection causing this. It is very frustrating.

Hi deguiret and welcome to the Community,
When Apps won’t run there are several places you can check Webroot’s settings.
For example let’s say Mozilla Firefox will not run.
This article will describe how to manage active connections:
http://www.webroot.com/En_US/SecureAnywhere/PC/WSA_PC_Help.htm#C4_Firewall/CH4c_ManagingActiveConnec...
So, in the Firefox example you would select Allow for the application Firefox.
If that does not fix it you can check further.
You can also check to see if the application is Allowed or Denied in the Identity Protection section:
http://www.webroot.com/En_US/SecureAnywhere/PC/WSA_PC_Help.htm#C6_IDProtection/CH6c_ManagingProtectedApps.htm
You can check in Utilities> System Control> Control Active Processes and check for Allow/Block status
http://www.webroot.com/En_US/SecureAnywhere/PC/WSA_PC_Help.htm#C10_SystemControl/CH10b_ControllingProcesses.htm
So, have a look and let us know if you need additional assistance,
Dave
