Makes my head hurt - I'll just get the regular edition after it is out 🙂
that's just a bit ridiculous...
Uplay is also not very good, its miles off what Origin and steam are. I hate DLC and pre-order bonuses, in fact most of the terrible stuff that has happened to gaming this generation (Season pass etc)
Agreed.  And usually the pre-order bonuses end up coming out as DLC later anyway, so it's not worth bothering to try and sort it all out in advance.
not to mention most of the time the preorder stuff is silly stuff like hats/costumes with no real gameplay value.

Agreed.  And when they aren't, they are often game-balance breaking weapons that make you too powerful in the beginning of the game.
yea there is that other extreme, was meaning to mention that but apparently forgot lol, personally I hate that kind of stuff esp in multiplayer games.
