Hey guys

Just a quick question. Do keycodes automaticly renew or do they have to be manually bought? If there is a setting to manage this, where may I find it?

Thanks

Brad
Hello Bradforth,

Do you have a Webroot subscription with Webroot or Best Buy?

Please have a look here which will explain how Webroot handles renewals? This KB article explains how to opt out but it also explains how Webroot handles this. https://community.webroot.com/t5/Webroot-SecureAnywhere-Antivirus/How-to-stop-automatic-renewal-for-Webroot-subscriptions/ta-p/13280

You can renew your subscription from the My Account window. Or go

here

To upgrade or renew the software:

  1. Open SecureAnywhere.

  2. Click the gear icon next to My Account.

  3. Click Upgrade or renew.

The Webroot website opens. From here, you can purchase an upgrade to your software.

Hey Ssherjj thanks for the reply

I was just concerned because I didn't remember opting in manually but uninterrupted protection does look like a good idea. I'm assuming this applies to mobile devices as well? If so I will have to look at my devices I no longer own to opt out
Hi Bradforth,

It depends on what Webroot subscription you have. If you have Webroot for 1 -3-5 devices with the same security code then they will be renewed as well. Is your mobile device the same keycide? Yes look in the Online Account Console and deactivate the devices you no longer have.

The Gamer version is only for one PC see here: http://www.webroot.com/us/en/home/products/gamer-av so are you sure you have the Gamer version as you can't install it on mobiles only the Security Plus and Complete versions: http://www.webroot.com/us/en/home/ also if you need to opt-out go here: http://www.webroot.com/us/en/auto_renewal_optout

Thanks,

Daniel
Hey guys

I do have the gamer versions and as for my mobile devices I bought them seperately. I will be sure to deactivate the device I no longer use ( so I'm guessing this will not require an opt out) and At least I now know how to opt out in thbfuture. Thanks guys
Hello Bradforth,

When using the SecureAnywhere Mobile Premiere app, there is an option to renew the subscription for this app. So I don't believe you will need to opt out of the mobile version.

Hey again.

Thanks guys for all your help with this 🙂 I will be sure to keep a better eye on things in the future

Brad
