i have tried to download Yahoo Messenger, and now ICQ. Webroot showed ICQ as a pua.downloader.gen, whatever that means. Am I doomed to be limited forever to facebook chat?

Hi Starlord174
Welcome to the Communit Forums.
It is sometimes the case that if one downlaods apps from a 3rd party website rather than the author's website or one sanctioned/recommend by them one gets asociated little presents delivered...this is because many 3rd party sites bundle main apps with addons or what we call Potentially Unwanted Applications (PUAs) which WSA detects and therefore blocks the downloads.
Trying redownloading the apps mentioend but from the approved websites rather than the likes of CNet, and other 3rd party sites...I suspect that the downloads will work OK once you do.
Regards, Baldrick
