I use Webroot as precaution and I don't want it taking up valuable real estate on my top menu bar as I almost never want to click on that. How can i remove the webroot icon from the top menu bar?

Hello ddibert,
Welcome to the Webroot Community,
If you are asking on how to remove the Webroot extensions from your browser then you can disable them from within your browser. I would not disable the Webroot Webfiter if I was you.
Please look here at the PC User Guide
And here is the PC Online User Guide
If you do not use Password Manager you can disable that but it will no longer run in your browser. IMO these Webroot extensions don't take up that much room. But it is of course your call.

Hi ddibert
Welcome to the Community Forums.
If I may just add here...I believe that you are looking to rid yourself of the Toolbar icon that relates to the Password Manager. As Sherry states you can just disable the related extension within the Addon/Extension Manager for the browser concerned...but if using Chrome one can leave these enabled if one wnats to and just hide the icon by right clicking on it and selecting the 'Hide in Chrome menu' option from the drop down presented.
Just another way to do the same thing. ;)
