Virus?
I was notified by one of my contacts that they received a bogus email with attachment from my email account today. Webroot automatically scanned 9 hours ago and 6 threats were removed. I did anoth scan a few minutes ago and no threats were detected. Any thoughts? What do i do?
Do you use Outlook or another type of local email software, or do you use a web-based account such as Google or Yahoo mail?
If you use a web-based account, please change your password immediately as there has been an intrusion on it.
If you use a local email program, please create a support ticket so that a Webroot support person can ensure that you do not have an infection.
