New to webroot and need help with setting up my account

As the subject reads I am new and I need some help. I have 2 laptops. One for me and one for my wife. We have 2 different andriod phones as well. After I created my webroot account I did create a user with my wifes name an email adress and I gave access to everything. Admin for all.     As I understand we are both connected to the same account but we can log in through different email adresses.  When I log in via my email adress I cant see that there is more than 1 computer protected and 1 smartphone connected. And when I log in via my wifes email adress I can only se that here computer and her phone is protected. Why is it like this? Shouldnt I be able to see that there is 2 computers and 2 phones connected to my account when I am admin?   How is the backup working then? We have tried to share folders by logging in to the backup module to the other parts email adress from eachothers laptops. We can se the shared folder but it does not sync between us. I am kind of lost her.   I want

New member in need of help

Just purchased Webroot Secure Anywhere with Password Manager.  I am having a problem logging into my Secure Anywhere account via the IE or Firefox toolbar icon.  Keeps telling me that it does not recognise the email acount I used - even though it is the same account I used to set up the account.  Does not matter which browser I use.  Can anyone help?

Chrome Browser (yeah again...)

I do not care about the WR toolbar, but am I protected using Chrome when I am visiting sites? I am using the current version, 22.0.1229.94 m, but see no signs of WebRoot as an extension, or in blocking any sites I have visited, although I generally only visit the big name sites like MS.com for example.   If using Chrome is a liability, then this should have been more clearly stated when I purchased the product. I use Chrome 99% of the time.

How can I uninstall Secure Anywhere from my phone?

My phone has noticeably slowed down since I installed SA and I am now having to pull the battery at least once a day to get the phone back to responsive, how do I uninstall it?     Thanks,

WSA freezes my browser

Yeah, that's strange.... But Webroot just freezes firstly my browser especially FireFox,  when I'am watching YouTube or downloading pdf files... Then just freezes whole system..... These seems quite look so with Google Chrome.... It does not like good  Webroot, it doesn't.......

i bought a secure anywhere complete  for 3 pcs and its for android phone as well so i installed it for my laptop and know i want to do it for my android phone an icant  it  keeps saying and error messege credentials are not associated with this secure anywhere complete

Website blocked, how can we fix this ?

Hi,   one of your customers told me that our website, [url=http://www.sur-la-toile.com]http://www.sur-la-toile.com[/url] was blocked by Webroot® SecureAnywhere.   It is a french portal about science and technology, with a blog and a forum. About 2M visitors monthly.   Can you please tell us where the problem comes from, if there is a real security issue we can fix, or check if it might be a false positive ?   Thanks a lot.   Benoit Fries

webroot detect sudden attack game as malware

first i scan local drive then it shows sudden attack game as malware and i didnt remove it because i think is false positive.then i cant open this game at all! i think webroot has blocked it! i also put this game to allow not monitor or protect.i think i want to change antivirus if cant fix this problem

Login Failed Error

I had to do a factory reset on my phone.  When I redownloaded Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile Complete and tried to login I got this error message: "Login failed.  The email or password you entered is incorrect."  I am using the same email and password that I use to login to mywebroot on my PC.  Any ideas on why it won't work and what I need to do?  Thanks.   I have checked out the post in knowledge base regarding this issue and still have no luck.  I've reset my password, made sure capslock wasn't on, my device isn't rooted, etc.

Registering Android App, but it keeps saying wrong email or password

Hey guys, I need some help.  I have been trying to fix this problem for months, off and on.  This evening I tried yet again for several hours, including the time spent installing and uninstalling [i]Webroot SecureAnywhere Complete[/i], v. 8.0.2.27, on my PC, and then trying to get the [i]SecureAnywhere Mobile Complete[/i] Android App to run on my HTC Incredible.  The PC software always installs and runs correctly, but the mobile app won't accept my correct info for email and password on the initial registration screen. Specifically, it responds "Login failed. The email or password you entered is incorrect."  I have checked and re-entered these numerous times, always with the same error message response.   I have verified that the email and password I'm using on that app registration screen will in fact successfully log me into the "my.webrootanywhere.com" website on my PC.  BTW, when I'm on there, I can see several consoles — though I'm not sure what is meant by 'co

Getting Kindle Fire to scream

I just downloaded Webroot on my son's Kindle Fire.  We are trying to use it like a remote alarm clock, so I need to be able to get it to scream.  When I log into the website and go to the page to make it scream, I get an error of   "We were unable to contact your device at this time. Your device will receive the "scream" request the next time it checks in. Please note that your device must be online to check in and receive the command."   It is connected to our Wifi so I don't understand why it won't work.  Any ideas?   Thank you

will updating to android 4.0 cause any problems for me?

I use the secure anywhere product and have my pantach burst as my mobile device. i am thinking about doing the free upgrade to android 4.0 and am wondering what i might need to do to ensure continued use of secure anywhere. i really like the product and want to make sure nothing gets messed up. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Possible false positives?

After an un-attended scan, ver# 8.0.2.27 on Windows XP Pro SP3, detected "c:program fileswinrarwinrar v3.41 final trial to full by great elmo!!.exe" and a subsequent scan found "c:windowssystem32cmdlineext03.dll". First file was cleaned but the second I searched and suspect this may be a false positive. I removed the winrar exe positive as I never use it anyway, but still suspect a false positive.   Malwarebytes and AVG have not tugged at these files ever. Just finished scans with these other two protectors came up clean, zero infections or malware.   Any conformation or clarification is appreciated.

Hi there, I have been communicating with support concerning my problem. Someone was to have contacted me today after 1pm my time. I haven't received this call. Please help me to download and install the SecureAnywhere to my phone that is not the free one. I've purchased the complete to protect 2 Andorid smartphones as well as my PC's. I would like to see if I could re-download the software I had to see if this problem maybe corrected for my phones. If not then, I'll call Webroot myself to see if I can get this corrected. Thank you for any help you can give me.

NOT Happy Customer!!!!!!

In December I purchased 50+ Seats of Webroot Complete! I was re-assured that each seat will have the 10GB backup space. For convenience- I was told that the licenses will come in 5 packs. 10 Months later the Backup & Sync continues to have problems not to mention that the 10GB promised per seat is 10GB per license. To contact tech support by phone is a 40 minute wait. My Apple devices will not authenticate. I am increasingly getting more frustrated with what looked like a promising product. I wish Webroot was as diligent about Quality of this product as it is with its STUPID level of security it imposes on the accounts. Are you kidding me?.... 4 tear security level? I’ve spent in excess of $2000 dollars and I thing that I will mount a major campaign to get my moneys back-

Help I have a big problem! i cannot access my android!... I have deactivate webroot administrator and now i cannot access my handy... i have all password but i dont'undestand... i have also change mein passwords in the my account website but nothing...when open my handy he want one passwordit is egal ass of web and it funtion but after the phone always have one space for one passwordwhat????!!  i have also deleted my protection device in website but i cannot access my  handy...please help me... WRSA.exe

I put in Webroot Secure Anywhere on my Windows 7.  Immediately upon trying to use Chrome the screen went blank and a warning "WRSA.exe was terminated becaust it was deemed harmful by Active X Virus control" came on the screen from Bit Defender.  I called Webroot and even with them controling to computer there was not found a way around this.  I then called Bit Defender and there response was that WRSA was a collection of items and they could not access those things.  So at that point I uninstalled Webroot and low and behold my Chrome access came back.  Does anyone know of a solution that a person with very limited computer knowledge could use?
