Hello, our MSP is currently trialing Webroot Secure Anywhere GSM. We have about 1300 workstations / servers under management.

We are trialing this software internally before we can consider replacing Vipre. So far it has been fantastic except for this one issue we've ran into.

At least a few of our employees (myself included) are seeing intermittent input lag. All of our workstation configurations are slightly different.

We are seeing this issue with:

* Windows 10 and Windows 8.1

* Wired and wireless mice / keyboards

* All Windows updates installed

* No other antivirus installed

There does not appear to be any coorelation with the amount of resources being used on our workstations when we see the input lag. My CPU usage can be at ~8% and RAM usage at ~30% and we will still run into this issue.

The actually input lag itself can vary in severity. Typically the mouse cursor will be unresponsive and will skip to the location that you're trying to move it to. Keystroke lag can be especially bad. I've seen as much as a 2 second delay between pressing a key and seeing it entered on the screen.

There is no particular application that this is happening in. We are able to see this issue with all applications closed.

Any help would be appreciated during this evaluation period.

Thank you.
First thing to try would be turning off the ID Shield and see if that improves things. I can also have support contact you to troubleshoot if you like. They can look at the logs and get a better idea of what is going on.
