We have a program called RVI that stores scanned images on a server. I have whitelsted the program and added it to the default policy group, but still our users cannot scan a document in from Internet Explorer. there is an RVI Bridge active X control that allows for this, so when I shut down the webroot protection, we can scan in. With webroot turned on, it does not. Any suggestions would be appreciated
That's probably caused by the ID Shield.  To get things working you can temporarily turn off that piece.  Then I'd recommend contacting support to see if they can get that whitelisted so you can re-enable the ID Shield:

Thanks for the quick reply. Not to sound dumb, but how do I go about turning off the ID Shield?
You do that in the policy - in the console go to the Policies tab.  You might want to create a new policy group just for the devices that need to run RVI.  On the policy itself, go to the Identity Shield tab and then you can set Identity Shield Enabled to Off.  Once the machines have checked in to get the new policy then try running the software again to see if that fixes it.  Then contact support and they'll be able to look at logs and see if they can whitelist the ActiveX control so that you can turn the ID shield back on (it's better not to permanently turn it off completely as that leaves you less protected).
