Interesting. I personally also use Microsoft's EMET (Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit) software or Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit (especially on old endpoints with Windows XP since .NET is outdated).

Exploits - meaning we do not search for operating system weaknesses, security patches or other weaknesses caused by other solutions.

 

Device management - we do not control or lockdown USB devices, dvds etc... those are all hardware controls that other solutions do a good job of handling. 

 

These are two add on features a lot of other traditional AV solutions have added on for revenue and to shore up their product. Webroot is confident enough in our technology to not have to include or add these cwhich would create major overhead and add bulk to our currently small yet efficient agent.
