I cannot sync or back

I cannot sync or back up. Window pops up stating "bad request ". Also cannot access files, download, or upload.

Sorry to hear you are having these issues.
May I ask if you are trying to use Back up and Sync for your IOS Mobile device?
Webroot Backup & Sync (for SecureAnywhere Complete subscriptions only)
You can also Submit a Support Ticket free of charge with a Webroot subscription and they can have a look.
