Does Webroot Mobile protect against Android Stagefright Vulnerability?
Page 1 / 1
Hi james_mogan
I think that would be a hard thing for WSA Mobile to do given that the Stagefright Vulnerability 'exploit' is a critical vulnerability in the Android operating system itself.
Apparently, Google has issued a patch, but not all phones are running the patched version of Android. There is apparently a tool, available on Google Play, which can scan for the vulnerability, and then if yours is revealed as compromised you should seek the option to get your phone patched to the latest level of the Android operationg system.
Hope that helps?
