Whenever I try to uninstall I get prompted to enter my password. So I type it in, hit the ok button and get a message saying the password is incorrect. I am 100% sure that the password I am entering is the correct one.

Did you try a scan without a card? If a scan will finish successfuly it does mean that some of installed application writes its file(s) to a card and this file is probably corrupted what makes scan to abort. You will have to find that application and I recommend to uninstall it, if you need it try it reinstall. You can also try to google the name of file you may get some clue.
