My Nexus 7 (Android 5.1.1) is flagging com.android.basicsmsreceiver as a trojan Android,Trojan.Gen.Heur
I've tried fixing it, but the uninstall is unsuccessful, and in the Apps list it is a stock android package. It this a false positive, or should I be more worried?
Thanks, Dave

It looks like this is a false positive - I'm checking for confirmation.
Ok confirmed it was a false positive and we've fixed it in our database so you should stop seeing the message.
I read that this is a false positive and that the problem was fixed. However, this message just began showing up on my tablet. I wanted to ensure this is still a false positive before I tell my Webroot program to ignore this supposed threat.

Welcome to the Community Forums.
Given what has been previously posted I would say that you are safe to make the ignore decision but if you would prefer something more official would Open a Support Ticket to advise the Support Team of the issue/query so that hopefully they can investigate/confirm to your satisfaction.
