I've been using Webroot on my Android phone for a couple of years and have never seen the black speech button that you speak of. Are sure that it's Webroot that's causing this?

Could you possibly post a screnshot?

Could you tell us what kind/ type of smartphone that you are using? Is it a Samsung? Motorola, LG etc...?
