I just installed Webroot into my laptop, but I need it on my smart phone and Kindle. I don't know how to do that. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the Webroot Community.

 

For Android phones you can get the Webroot App from the Play store. If you have WSA Complete then be sure to get the correct version for Complete. There is also free version (No Password Manager) that you can use too. Please see this KB Article regarding Webroot mobile Android apps.

 

Webroot is also available on Kindle through their app store, but please see this KB Article regarding Kindle Fire HD.

The problem is:

1) cannot figure out how to even get online with teh phone. Totally obscure process

  1. I don’t want to even do it UNTIL I get some protection on the phone first

Is it an Android phone or Apple iPhone?

Connect via Home Wi-Fi or over cellular network if you have a data plan?

At home I have old fhasioned “wire”/modem internet. Not wi-fi.   I was thinking about why cant I just use the phone cellular connection ad data plan, but anytime I try to sign in anywhere online it tells me it cannot make contact…??  My online useage with teh smart phone will be VERY VERY limited. I barely have a need for one BUT I think it is good to keep up ya know?   SO I still have the obscure problem of how the  heck do I get online like if I need an uber ride somewhere?
