I saw tweets about this on twitter yesterday. Sounds extremely malicious and well organized. It's a new malware from an organization called Yingmob in China. Has anyone heard about this and is the Webroot organization keeping us safe from this criminal enterprise?
Hi and welcome to the Community ?

Take a look at this article HummingBad Android Malware Is a Dangerous Rootkit with a Bright Future
Considering it has been around since at least last November, I'd be very surprised if Webroot cannot readily detect this.

Quote: "Shedun, which first appeared in August 2015, is also known as GhostPush, HummingBad, Hummer, AndroidOS_libskin, as well as by the name of the malicious Android .APK executable file itself, which is right_core."
