Why does webroot use http instead of https on their "initial start page" address? I changed mine to a https but I'm wondering why? Thank you.

Are you talking about the webroot.com domain? That uses plain http for now, except if you make a purchase. The online community uses https now, but webroot.com hasn't switched everything https yet.
