Hi rawbizecson,
Welcome to the Webroot Community 😃 and thanks for joining us.
There isn't a way to have SecureAnywhere Mobile update the definition files and scan for threats only when you are connected via WiFi. However, what you can do is to change the default setting for the Definitions Update to be manual instead of automatic. Once you make this change you should make sure to update the definitions once a day and scan at least once a day to stay secure. Please follow the steps below to change the settings.
1. Locate the SecureAnywhere icon on your home screen or under all applications and touch it to launch the app.
2. Tap on the Security tab at the bottom of the screen and then tap on Antivirus.
3. Next, tap on the Schedule tab at the bottom of the screen. Select Definition Update Frequency and choose Never. Tap the back button on your phone twice to exit out.
I hope this helps. If you have any other questions please let me know.
Thanks !
