I have a very popular weather program for P3D flightsim called Active Sky 16. This is one of the programs that had a false positive yesterday with webroot, and I have been using the program for well over a year. After that, I noticed that AS16 would start up normally and within a minute or so would shut down, making it unusable. I posted this the Active Sky Forum, and another person said they were having the exact same problem since yesterday, and their solution was turn turn off Realtime protection in their AV program which happened to be webroot.

I found a solution. Go into Webroot. Click on Identity protection/application protection Add as16.exe which on my system is in Program files(86)/Hifi/AS16_P3D/as16.exe . Now you can leave realtime protection on and it won't shut down AS 16. Apparently something changed in webroot and it doesn't like AS16 communicating with it's server.
