Why do I always have a warning for two active threats. Scans show no threats then the warning comes bach.
Hello BOBM,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

Can you tell me if Webroot in the system tray has changed colors?

The main interface change colors, as follows:

  • Green. Your computer is secure.
  • Brown. An important function has been disabled.
  • Red. One or more critical items require your intervention.
To view details about the current status and settings, open the main interface by right-clicking on the Webroot icon http://www.webroot.com/En_US/SecureAnywhere/PC/Content/Resources/Images/WebrootIcon.png from the system tray menu, then click View Status.

Now please have a look here to and see if this is what you are seeing: https://community.webroot.com/t5/Webroot-SecureAnywhere-Antivirus/PC-Threats-Removed-Stats/ta-p/1698...

It is brown
Hi BOBM,

When your Webroot icon is brown it means that an important function has been disabled. Can you check this here..

If you click on the icon to bring the dialogue box up onto the screen, click on the small cog beside PC Security  and you will see this in the bottom picture,  If one of those is turned off you will have to turn it back on again by clicking on the button, entering the CAPTCHA and continuing.

Is Webroot still showing 2 Active threats? Are these threats in Quarantine?http://www.webroot.com/En_US/SecureAnywhere/PC/WSA_PC_Help.htm#C5_Quarantine/CH5a_ManagingQuarantine.htm
Hi again BOBM,

I am going to sign off in a abit so I would like you to do a Scan of Webroot and see what you come up with, If you are still having issues with Webroot and these threats come on and off then please Submit a Support Ticket which is free of charge with an active Webroot subscription and they will look into this for you.

It appears that Webroot does not like my Seagate backup. I found it in block/allow files and checked allow. It is working for now.

Thanks
Hi BOBM,

That's great! Thank you for letting us know!
