I am trying to install Amazon Cloud Drive app on my laptop and Webroot keeps telling me that it is infected with W32/64.Adware.Eorezo.  I downloaded it from Amazon directly does anyone know about this issue?  Is this a false negative?

This is what I have found:

 

Adware:Win32/EoRezo is a type of potentially unwanted program that may install other threats when run into the computer. This is a name given by Microsoft Security Software to identify computer threat that is linked to adware or PUP. Unwanted programs are software that intends to implicate changes on the computer or browser without asking for user's approval. In this case, Adware:Win32/EoRezo may install other adware, toolbars, browser redirect, and hijack the home page of affected browser.

 

@is not online to look at these Logs.

 

My best advise would be to Submit a Support Ticket to see what they say.

And the scan log shows it was blocked in Realtime so it's best to contact Support like Sherry suggeted if you feel it's incorrect.

The thing is it's marked Good as of December 4th so do another Clean reinstall of Amazon Cloud Drive App for PC and everything should be fine.
