Since I have webroot secure anywhere, do I need to have anti-virus protection too? This is all new to me. Thanks!

No, you do not need additional or separate antivirus protection...WSA covers it all in one very light but very efficient package. You are well protected against all types of amlware, of which viruses are just one, with just WSA
