As per all malware in most cases there is not specific way to see/confirm that one is infected other than to run scans with reputable anti malware software, and if they detect it then you are either infected or where about to be, etc.
Of course in the of some threats like ransomware you will definitively know when you are infected due to the nature of the infection.
In the case of this specific malware I am not aware of any signs that allow specific differentiation and therefore the scan with WSA is probably probably your best indicator of whether infected or not.
And if you are then WSA should pipe up & disinfect your system of the threat.

Badboy is a virus from the early 1990s, so it is highly unlikely that you would currently be infected with this threat.@ wrote:
