I recently downloaded and installed the most current WebRoot SecureAnywhere product on my MacBook Pro. I've had it on my Windows PC for multiple years without issue. However, since installing it on my MacBook, it routinely advises me that the Web Shield extension is not installed and asks me to install it. I've done this multiple times, but it still pops back up a little while later saying it is not installed again and again. Does anyone know if this is a bug or if there is something I missed in the install? I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the entire product to no avail.

Hello djmcavoy,
Welcome to the Çommunity Forum,
Sorry you almost slipped through the cracks but I'll try to advise you now.
I have a Mac PC as well and this does happen to me too. Does this happen when you reboot? May I ask you what browser you are using?
I can ping@ who is our Threat Researcher and see if he has any information for you about this Webfilter.
If you have uninstalled and reinstalled then I'd advise you to issue a Support Ticket so that they can check this out for you.
Please be patient and the support team will reach you as soon as they can.. Ususally they are pretty quick. Also would you let us know what support tells you so that we can help others ? ;)
Kind Regards,

Hello,
This is an issue that we are currently working on. There will be a new update for mac pushed out later this month that should correct the problem.
Thanks,
