I have used Webroot for several months with no problems.  I like it's small footprint and nimble performance.

I just bought a new laptop this week and put Webroot SecureAnywhere on it first thing.  The only software I downloaded was the HP driver package directly from HP, Chrome directly from Google, and Adobe Creative Cloud versions of Photoshop CC and Lightroom CC.

Pretty much from the start I have been getting hits on igdm64.dll as w32.malware.gen.  I'm guessing that is possibly some pup bloatware in the HP driver package but is there any way to verify whether this is a false positive?

Thanks,

Chris
Hello Chris and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

Yes in most cases it's a PUA but just to make sure Submit a Support Ticket and they can look at your Scan Log and either mark it good or bad in the cloud database and tell you want it is.

Thanks,

Daniel 😉
