i was running bitdefender for my anti virus and it is saying this is a malicious application. Malwarebytes is blocking it. My daughter had webroot and had me load it. i am not a computer geek and i have no idea what i am doing. my computer seems to be in a constant state of disinfection with bitdefender, malwarebytes is constantly blocking this site and WAS is showing no infections. i don't get any of this. Help! thanks!
Hello and Welcome to the Webroot community!

syswow64 is a system folder for 64bit Operating systems under C:Windowssyswow64 can you tell me what the others are saying about the Folder? And your saying something about a Website? Did you have WSA installed before this happened or after?

Thanks,

Daniel ;)

Thanks, Daniel. I am a computer illiterate and I'm not sure I understand any of this. Malwarebytes is blocking this syswow64 and bitdefender is calling it a malicious application. WSA doesn't seem to be agreeing with them. Is this malicious? If it is an operating system shouldn't it be there? I'm sure I had WSA installed when this started. Thanks, Carole

Hi Carole it's best to Submit a Support Ticket and don't let Bitdefender or Malwarebytes do anything as Webroot support will check your system and if need be will help you clean it free of Charge with your paid Subscription.

Thanks,

Daniel 😉
I will do that. Thank you so much for your help, Daniel!
Anytime let us know how it goes!

Thanks,

Daniel 😉
