When I try to delete my spam folder webroot shows a warning that "this site has been reported unsafe". It does this about 40% of the time. Most times I can just close the browser, reopen it and delete but not this time. Any suggestions?

                                                                                                               Thanks,  Rob
Hello Rob, welcome to the Webroot Community!

We have had a few reports of odd behavior like this over the last couple of weeks or so.  If you are able to, the next time you get the error would you be able to capture a screen shot of it?

Regardless of whether you can get a screen shot, please do submit a Trouble Ticket.  Webroot is aware of a few isolated events like what you are seeing, but the last I heard additional data would be very useful in helping to correct the problem.

The other reports I have seen are very much like yours: things work just fine most of the time, but that incorrect blocking does happen once in a while.  A simple cloe and restart the browser usually works to correct the problem.  You might also try to reboot the computer and see if that is of any help as well.

I hope this helps a little bit!

Thanks David, nice to know it's not just me. This all started after GeekSquad reinstalled Webroot a couple weeks ago. I would love to send you a screen shot, just as soon as someone tells me how. ( I posted in non-techie thinking that ment "technalogically challenged" then figured it's in the wrong place) Thanks for the response,  Rob

Our pleasure Rob!  We have a lot of good people here who enjoy helping when we can :)

Do go ahead and file the Trouble Ticket if you can.  Normally, the majority of Support for a Best Buy Subscription does need to go through Best Buy, but I think in this case it would help if Webroot Support at least took note of it.

@ Are you able to watch for the ticket and help see that any data regarding the off and on False Positives we have seen with the Web Filter Extensions are reported?  As I recall you asked me the other day to make sure that Support received info from any such cases I run into?
As far as I know, the major reputation database snafu from the other week is resolved, so this one is probably just a regular old false positive.
Nic,

May be.... he did say it had been blocking only around 40% of the time but now is blocked always.  Thanks!
Did you mention which site it was that is getting this message?  I can have someone look it up in the database.
@ Can you provide the exact web address being blocked?

Nic, I am sorry I did not ask that before... given his first post and explantion I 'assumned' it was related to the issue last week... Sorry about that!  I know... never assume!
After joining this site and being here a while I was able to go back and delete my spam folder. I just sent off a Trouble ticket. The problem isn't with a site it is with my spam folder of my email. I use Mozilla and Yahoo if that makes any difference. I have to go, but thanks for the input. Have a good weekend,  Rob
Well, usually a specific folder of a website based email will have a different specific URL of the main site itself... so it COULD be something at the end of the email server, or it could be something with the WSA Web shields...

Either way, hopefully it will be resolved.  Have a great weekend Rob!  Any time you have a question or problem, please drop by here again anytime!
Agreed - it does sound like you are talking about the spam folder on Yahoo mail.  I use Yahoo myself and it doesn't ever flag the spam folder.  It does change the URL when you click on different folders, so perhaps for some reason your spam folder URL is triggering something.  Anyway, let us know if it comes back or if support is able to sort anything out for you.
