Hi folks,
Does Webroot block the Firefox-patch.js malware? My son accidentally dowloaded Firefox-Patch.js this morning? Everything seems to be working fine. I only found 1 suspicious file on the Start Menu and I was able to remove that. No other bad extensions on Firefox or Chrome. Operating on Windows 10.
Looks like it downloaded but didn't allow exe.
Any advice

You may want to have a look at this thread from over at the Mozilla Support Forums, in relation to this particular issue. It would seem that the solution would be to install an ad blocker to help deal with the 'threat'.

I installed the ad blocker just in case.

No worries, Dale
Keep us posted on progress and if the ad blocker helps. It should but it is always good to get first hand feedback on this sort of thing.
