I bought the webroot extension, got the e-mails & new key.

I downloaded it & double clicked wsainstall.exe.

All it does is run webroot - offers toscan my computer.  It does not ask for the new key.

I got the e-mails about 2 weeks ago, is it because I waited too long?
Hello epowers69,

Welcome to the Community Forum,

Would you please go to this Knowldege Base article and add your keycode.https://community.webroot.com/t5/Webroot-SecureAnywhere-Complete/Adding-a-Keycode-into-a-Console/ta-p/20344

By chance can you tell me if you renewed from Best Buy/ Geek Squad or Webroot?

Let us know if you resolved this issue or not so we can further assist

Kind Regards,

Hi epowers69

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Did you by any chance have a trial version of WSA installed before you purchased your keycode?  If so then there is no need to install WSA again...just open the main panel by double clicking on the desktop icon or the notification tray icon, and then double click on the cog/gear icon to the right of the My Account tab.

That should open a new panel in which to the right you will see under the heading 'Activate a new keycode' a space to cut & paste or key in the new keycode.  If you do so and then double click 'Activate' (making sure that yo are connected to the internet when you do) then the activation process should occur and you new key should be applied.

If I have missed the point of your post then please post back and we will try to assist further.

Regards, Baldrick
