Please help I think I have a virus on my computer.

Hello stay-off, welcome to the Community!
I have done some quick looking, and what I am finding indicates that slimware is not actually a virus or malware, IF you got it directly from the maker. If you downloaded from a 3rd party site, however, there is a very high chance that additional software piggybacked in with the download. It could be that either that extra garbage is causing the problem, or that free versions of slimware do act as 'adware'. The extra junk, by the way, we call PUA's, (Potentially Unwanted Applications), and they are a constant annoyance to.... everyone LOL.
If you want more detailed info on PUA's, what they are, how to avoid them, and some tips on removing them, please let me know and I will reply back with that.
For the problem of the moment, while slimware does not appear to be actually malware, it does appear that it's removal is not always so simple or easy. While advanced users may be able to tackle this one head on, average users may want to rely on an expert for assistance. You can submit a Trouble Ticket with Webroot Support for assistance in getting this, and any other PUA's that came in with it, off of your computer.
