has anyone had problems with this antvirus interfering with your email programs??

Hello and Welcome to the Community Forum,

WSA does not interfere with email clients or are you talking about online email account? Can you Check Here to see if anything is being Monitored when trying to click on the links in emails?

Regards,
Hi gillettegal and welcome.

Sherry has already given you the good scoop on what to check.

Webroot does not really have any hooks into your email and does not scan emails.  Instead it sits there and waits for you to try and execute an attachment/program that might be detrimental to your system and then WSA would block it and provide the required protection that you need.   If your email contains a link and you click on it, WSA would check it against the Brightcloud database to ensure it is ok.

However unlikely WSA would interfere with your email, anything is possible.  It is Friday the 13th after all.

Regards,

Dave
Hi gillettegal

May I add my welcome to the Community Forums.

If I may just add to the good advice that both Sherry & D_J have already provided by saying that it is also possible that your email client (if you are accessing your emails via webmail then disregard what follows) has been picked up under the Identity Protection Shield and you may need to remove it from there or adjust the settings for it under that Shield.

For information on how the Shield works and the settings that the user can adjust, to gether with the implicaitons of doing so, please look at this help page (if this is pertinent to your issue).

And you have additional questions then please post back here.

Regards, Baldrick
