May I ask if this is a Mobile device or Tablet? What Samsung do you have? Have you gone on the Samsung site and looked there? Is there a way to uninstall iTunes and install the latest ITunes? Her's a link for iTunes here

 

Now as far as updating your Samsung you might want to lookup Samsung and lookup you device and trouble shoot the updates there?
