Hello to the webroot community!
Just a bit about me before I start asking questions. I am not yet by any stretch of the imagination would be considered to be a 'geek'.
I have learned much but seemingly the world of cybersecurity grows exponentially daily it seems.
Hate to sound ingnorant right off but my first question how do you access the icons so as may choose one for myself.
Secondly, the real question I'd like to ask is; I am an AOL user. Since all the changes they made after their huge security breach, on all videos be they youtube or news etc. videos, I get in the middle of the screen- cfiles5min.com requests to store information on your computer.
My past experience is you are out of luck even if you click deny and get it anyway.
How do rid myself of this?
I even read an article by an AOL postmaster which not effective whatsoever.
It's extremely annoying. Malware doesn't get rid of nor does spybots and I hate to say it not even the great webroot product does either.
Love to hear from anyone who can help.
Many thanks,
Greenhorn5

Hello greenhorn5, and Welcome to the Webroot Community.
Hope you will enjoy it here, and there is much to learn and investigate.
Regarding cfiles5min.com, can you please disable pop-ups in the browser, and if you could also look at the Flash Player Settings, and change to suit.
