why did i not see a virus scan? it scanned for malware twice. it is a antivirus also, correct?
Hello there User, welcome to the Webroot Community!

(There is NO such thing as a 'stupiduser' so I prefer not to use your username :S)

The term malware includes viruses, so when WSA is checking for Malare, it is looking for virus, rootkits, key loggers and more all at once.  You are quick protected from viruses and I assure you that you are not the only one who has asked this, so it is also most certainly NOT a supidquestion either!   🙂
thanks for your help, and your kindness.

I must say webroot seems to scan very fast. in the past I have had norton, mcafee, avg, and avast, and this is by far the fastest and does not seem to bog down my computer like others.

way to go webroot!

WSA works quite a bit differently, and so the scans are much faster!  Also, just remember that while I may have a badge that says "expert", I wan't born that way and I am still learning!  We are all alike in that we all started off not knowing anything :)

My brother in law laughs at me as I am completey inept when it comes to my car....   :)
