Hello rd1565000,

Welcome to the Community!

Can you tell me if you are running a Mac or a Pc Windows?

Because a clean install should fix this issue! Please let me know!

Regards,
I've run the scan twice and it doesn't complete

EDIT: Merge with earlier thread as they are essentially about the same issue...Baldrick

Yes rd1565000, Can you tell me if you are using a PC Windows or a Mac Computer with Webroot.

If I may step in with a few questions of my own.....  :)

When you say it does not complete, does it simply lock up?

Does it exit without finishing?

Does it keep restarting?

Does it give any error?

Please give us a bit more exact description of the behavior so that we can try to advise.

Thanks!
it stops and disappears from screen
pc windows
Ok rd1565000 do you know if you are using a Windows PC?
Hello rd156500,

Would you please do a  clean reinstall of Webroot?

  • Make sure you have a copy of your Keycode
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again

Please let us know if that resolves your issue

If this doesn't resolve your issue then please issue a Support ticket free of charge.

Yes rd1565000,

We will be here when you get back and you can follow the instructions that I posted above. Just let us knwo if and when you need more help!

Regards,
I am sorry, but if you need to leave in a minute, I would suggest you come back to this when you have more time.  Troubleshooting often takes more than just a minute or so to complete and figure out what is going on.

I hope you get back to us as soon as you can so that we can try to get this fixed!  :)
thanks,Dave I will
