My last computer was distroyed by what I was told was a hidden hijacker program. The attacker remains at large and is probably still misusing the "pro-rat" or "rat pro" program. Is there any way that I can protect my current computer from this type of attack?

Destroyed? Who told you this? A RAT is a remote access trojan, they can be removed without any permenant damage (very worst case would be a reinstall of Windows which is rare). This is also not the correct section for this type of question but I cant move it to the correct section.
