I use IE, Windows Explorer, Excel and Word Icons on my task bar to store shortcuts to documents, websites, etc I have simply pinned the common documents and sites to the icons which has been working great for me for a long time. Since I installed Webroot those shortcuts have become unpinned. I have tried pinning them again, but webroot unpins them again. Is there a setting in Webroot I need to turn off? I would be very greatefull for any help............d

Hello and Welcome to the Community Forum,
I've done abit of research and would you mind going here to see how to pin to the taskbar. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/pin-a-program-to-the-taskbar
I use IE and I haven't a problem with Webroot unpinning my short cuts.
@ can you assist here as well?
Best Regards,

Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!
I'm not sure what to think of this I've never seen WSA do anything like this and I don't think WSA is doing it really. Do you have the Taskbar Locked? http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ca/windows-vista/lock-the-taskbar if it continues Submit a Support Ticket and maybe they can see something.
Thanks,
Daniel 😉

Hi asawaton
A bit late to the issue but when you say "I use IE, Windows Explorer, Excel and Word Icons on my task bar to store shortcuts to documents, websites, etc" I do not quite follow how you are doing this...are you refering to the Jump Lists for Word, IE, etc., that are standard Windows, and if so is that periodically the Jumps List are blanked out but something/some action yo are not aware of?
Just a long shot...for what it is worth.
