My previous computer is no longer in my possession.  How do I remove it from being included as being covered by Webroot?
Hi Shilohs_girl

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Please take a look at this KB Article that should explain all that you need to know to achieve what you are looking to do.

PS. Hopefully you were able to uninstall WSA from your previous machine...but if not then deactivating from your subscription is almost as good.
Thanks to Baldrick the KB article helped me out!
Hi Shilohs_girl

You are most welcome...glad to hear that you are sorted and glad to be able to help a fellow Community member.

Have a great weekend.

Greetings, I happen to have an older HP computer thats sitting in my hall closet. Its busted. Is it necessary to remove the protection from it even though its not being used ?
Hi ROBERT1725

Hope that you are well?

If it is 'busted' then physically there i no need to remove WSA...assuming that you could access Winodws to do so...;)

But what I would recommend is that you review the KB Article I linked for Shilohs-girl, and then go over to your online console and deactivate the registration of the 'busted' device...that way you will release one of the devices from your subscription that is currently registered as in use by the 'busted' PC, and which after this action you can then reuse fully on another device.

Hope that helps?

Regards, Baldrick.
