I have a pdf file that I'm try to upload to another site. Each time I attempt to upload I get a message the tells me that the file I am trying to upload has a virus. Scan the file and try again. Can soomeone tell me how to do that? Please.
Hello AMWestover,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

Are you able to right click on the PDF file and scan with Webroot?
Thank you Sherry, I did do that and the scan said there is no threat. I will try to upload again now.
It didn't allow the upload. I got the same message. I'm unsure as to why, I have uploaded this pdf to other sites with out an issue. I can copy and paste it either, it's my college transcripts and in a specific format.
Hi AMWestover,

i am not sure why you cannot upload this PDF. Have you tried another browser to try and upload this file?
I will try that.
Arg! That didn't work either. I will try changing the pdf to word doc, those files uploaded just fine. It might just be a preference on thier site, for security or something.

Thank you so much for your thoughts.

Ann
Hi AMWestover,

Can you check to see if WSA is involved in the issue and shut WSA down, You can  shut down WSA by right-clicking the tray icon and choosing to shut it down. Then you can restart it by opening it up via your start menu.
