Hi Bailey Q
Welcome to the Community Forums.
The best approach to your issue is to install, as an addon or extension, and specialist popup blocker. Depending on your browser(s) there are some recommended ones which are as follows:
Chrome: uBlock or AdBlock Plus (the former is newer but lighter and what I use whilst the latter is longer standing but I find it
resource hungry)
Firefox: AdBlock Plus or AdBlock Edge...I prefer the latter formthe same r easons as stated above.
IE: AdBlock Plus
But to be truthful there are a number of other ad blockers and so it may pay to read up on the subject...but the above are a starter for ten.
To install you just go to your browser settings, usually in the topmrigh hand corner, and either look for a specific option called Addons or Extensions, or look for them under a Tools or Options segting (again, where this resides depends on your browser) and usually that opens a browser page which displays what extensions are installed Nd als offers an option to search or go online to get the addon/extnesion younare looking for. Searching with ghe names that I have gievn above should do the trick and then you just downlaod//install at the click of a button. Then in some cases you may need to do a bit of configurations to get the extension just so...but generally it is download & use.
Hope that helps as a starter? Please do come back here if you have any further questions on this subject.
Regards, Baldrick
