renewed my license a while ago (
. No problem.3 machines).
I updated my main computer right away (desktop)
Now a month later, I am trying to updated my laptop - which still showed EXPIRED SBSCRIPTION.
Won't accept my login credentials.
I thought the update across the board was automatic.

Hi benz4417
Welcome to the Community Forums.
If you are using the same keycode on more than one device (assuming that the keycode concerned is multi device) then renewal of the keycode should affect all devices that use it.
Are you sure that you laptop is not on another keycode (best to check the obvious first....;))? Also when you say 'renewed' you do mean adding time to your existing keycode and not the purchasing of a new keycode? If that is the case then you will need to apply the new keycode to all devices to be covered.
If none of the above is the case then, I would Open a Support Ticket providing the Support Team with all the details so that they can take a look in the back office systems and check out what may be going wrong. We in the Community are just volunteers and so have no access to these systems.
I am sure that once they look into it for you they will be able to figure out what is wrong and sort it out for you.

Thank you for the reply.
I do have (at least) 2 keycodes.
Don't know why - I meant to extend my existing subscription (3 machines) by another year.
There was a problem to start. My renewal notice came only 3 months after my initial purchase.
It should have lasted 1 year.
I was then issued a new keycode.
I then purchased what I thought was a one-year extension.
Another keycode was issued.
(what a mess)
I did use another email address for the renewal.
Anyway. I will contact Webroot soon.

Hi Fred
No worries...it happens...I have done it too.
Contact Support via a Support Ticket, give them the keycodes, identify which you want to keep (I would suggest your original one) and which one you want to get rid of and then ask them to transfer the time from the latter to the former...they should be able to do that for you.
If you have any further issues re. this please do come back and let us know and we will try to help further.
Regards, Baldrick
PS. Apologies for not responding sooner but I am based in the UK and have been at work all day...;)
