I just bought a new laptop and installed webroot antiviris. After a week my computer is starting to work slow. How do I speed up my computer performance and speed with Webroot? Is this possible?

Hi Marine200199
Welcome to the Community Forums.
I am wondering if by any chance you may have a number of files/apps that are being monitored by WSA. Monitoring is a condition that is usually switched on by WSA when it is unable to determine if an active app/file on your system is good or bad...if it is unable to do that it switches into 'moniotring' mode for that app/file and (i) restricts what that app/file can do & (ii) jornals anything that it can do so that if it does determine that the app/file is after all bad then it can block and ndo anythingthat it may have done to your system in the mean time.
Would you please have a read of this KB Article that explains what is the difference between the various tabs in WSA which you can set items to "Allow," "Protect/Monitor," or "Block/Deny"
1. PC Security > Quarantine > Detection Configuration
2. Identity & Privacy > Protected Applications
3. Utilities > System Control > Control Active Processes
And check to see if you have any apps/files set to 'Monitor'. If you do then do not change them to another setting but just come back here and we can advise further.
