Hi nickbedwell123
If you have WRSA installed make sure that you are using a browser that supports the Webroot Web Threat Filtering extension, i.e., Google, Firefox, Edge, and then check that the extension is installed & active. All this can be done via the Add On or Extension page under the browser. That extension when active leverages Webroot's extensive database of suspect or malicious sites and prompts you with a warning should you attempt to go to a site so defined.
Also, if you download & install software apps make sure that you only do so from either the developer's own site or the site(s) that has been recommended. Many sites offering downloads of software often bundle PUPs/PUAs (Potentially Unwanted Programs/Applications) which are usually mostly adware, etc., but in some cases can be malicious, etc.
Hopefully, as a starter, that helps?
