Have you tried to uninstall this application through normal channels, i.e., Add/Remove Programs, etc., If you have not then try that but if you have but something lingers, i.e., perhaps a lingering pop up or the like?

 

Well, from research the app appears to be legitimate although it is also termed by some as possibly unwanted...which puts it almost into Potentially Unwanted Application (PUA) territory.  However, the developer offers this web page with details of how to remove the app:
