I am having a hard time downloading adobe flash player. Before installation it says "Note: Your antivirus software must allow you to install software. How can I be sure it is allowing the download? What can I do to ensure it?

Welcome to the Community Forums.

 

You should not be having any issues downloading the Adobe Flash player if you are in fact downloading it from the official Adobe website.  If you are not then it is very possible that WSA is causing you issues because it is detecting the inclusion of other addition programs/installer bundled in with the flash player one, some or all of which may be being detected as PUAs (Potentially Unwanted Applications as we call them here in the Community).

 

To see if may be the issue please attempt to download the flash player from here, making sure to read the installer panel presented carefully and to uncheck any add ons offerred that you do not want co-installed.

 

Then please come back and let us know how you have fared/if you have the problem resolved or if it still exists.
