Welcome Manny, To the Community Forum!
Can you give me some more information?
What trial apps are you trying to install?
Can you tell me if Webroot is blocking these apps?
If you are being blocked by Webroot then it is only protecting you from installing these applications for a reason. Third party downloads can come with some prettty bad Attachments or PUAs. Webroot will protect you from malware/ viruses
An explanation of PUAs (Potentially Unwanted Application) they cause pop-us, redirect your browser home page, and other behavior that may slow down the computer and direct ads your way, but they are not actually doing anything bad like damaging files or stealing information. Often they are installed intentionally by you the user as browser add-ons for various tasks such as quick search tools.. but they also come with the result of added annoying pop-ups and ads. Other times they 'piggy back' with other software that you installed, or try to 'sneak' onto your system entirely.
So excuse me for this long reply but can you tell me more about these trial apps that you cannot install?
Best Regards,

Welcome to the Community Forums.
If I can stress the point that Sherry made in the light of the 'trial apps' reference in your original post?
Whether an app being downloaded is a trial or not the key is to download from the author's website (often trials are the full version witha mechanism to emasculate certain features once the trial is over/until a license code is entered, etc.)...so it is not really what you are downloading but rather from where the download is coming from that MAY be the issue here.
