hi dear,

i am a prospective customer of your product.can you please tell me how webroot will help me of getting infection from google chrome default adware problem..that is a strong adware blocker and a best firwall settings to stop all attacks by whom i am traced..as his is the root of all hectic that comes to my system..i wish no misguidance will be there as i heard and found really very good reviews for you..also in addition to to your product do i have to install another antivirus for external drive scanning..HOPE YOU GUYS WILL REPLY SOON

You reset the browsers as it says in that KB article! https://community.webroot.com/t5/Techie-KB/How-to-Remove-Potentially-Unwanted-Applications/ta-p/40744

 

Then add a good Ad blocker and becareful of what you install as most free software comes with PUA's/PUP's (Adware) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potentially_unwanted_program
just install ublock origin and try to update its 3rd party filters.....its perfect

I like giving options as it says in the KB Article but that's the one I use in Firefox and Chrome and soon for the Edge browser. Note Pre-release: https://github.com/nikrolls/uBlock-Edge/releases/tag/1.7.7b14-edge and I have not tried it so becareful.
