have utilized webroot for a 2 or 3 years now .... hope I can come here to ask questions .... I'm not a computer illiterate person but sometimes **bleep** gets complicated ...

Welcome to the Community Forums.
If you renewed and in the process moved from the 'Antivirus' version (you have posted in that forum so I asume that is what you have been using) to the 'Complete' version then you should now have access to the Back Up & Sync feature and if you look on the main WSA panel you should see a blue circle with a white cross to the right of the Back Up & Sync tab. This indicates that the feature is active but not yet set up and you should be able to clcik on the gear/cog symbol to the right of that to access the options to set up the feature.
Please take a look at this page from the online help text which provides an overview of the feature plus further links to other collateral about it, and also please see this KB Article on how to use Back Up & Sync.
If you run into any issues re. getting access to the Back Up & Sync then either please post back here and we will try to help further or you can Open a Support Ticket to get the Webroot Support Team to provide assistance. The service is free to users with an active subscription.
